Robert Palevitz Bio

Robert Palevitz is a painter whose respect and admiration for the time honored traditions of the great masters is obvious from the first viewing.  While his still life images are reminiscent of earlier centuries’ master still life paintings, Robert’s style and approach to the subject matter are truly his own.

 A native of NY, Robert now lives and works in Manhattan.  Palevitz studied at the Art Student's League and School of Visual Arts and has shown his work in New York and around the country over the last 25 years Robert’s works have gained international recognition and have been selected for such prestigious shows as the Allied Artist of America Annual show Audubon artists annual show at the Salmagundi Club, NY art students 30/30 show, As well as winning numerous awards around the country, Roberts portrait work as well as articles on figure drawing and gauche painting technique have been featured in the top International art publications worldwide.

Robert Palevitz holds active memberships in such professional organizations as: American Society of Portrait Artists, The Audubon Artists, Allied Artists of America, Art Students League of NY, of which he is a lifetime member, the California Art club and the School of Visual Arts Alumni Society.  He is also a board member with the Allied Artists of America.
